How to practice the Arabic rhythms on drums (no table)?
I mean normal, I used the battery Rockbands way of live music playing, play the standard Arabic and the time has a way of expanding the drum sounds when you live?
All these things are not unusual. I saw a lot of Greek and Middle Eastern gangs baladi rhythms played on a standard battery in place of a table or dumbek ethnic or other type of battery (and also many who use both). Generally, it's just a matter of knowing that, under drum (tom or release conditional) gives the "Doum (low) good snare drum gives the" tek "sound, cymbals, bells, wood block can be used for lace and gunshots and cut mid-range are used for symptoms of color tone. (I prefer this style drummer, Michael Kakio, broken-toms widely used. He also played in a band for a while Polynesia, and incorporated some of the rhythms from time to time.) I also saw a Greek cabaret banda which is used for an electronic drum set - which I think allows the table and sound (not sure - a bit like the idea of a bouzouki player accompanied by Emerson, Lake and Palmer). Now, to complete your battery pack - two ways. Most batteries a set of drum microphones and mount one in front of the drum (s), arm and several others about the game. The big time rock and rollers who an unlimited budget professional technicians have installed a "c-producer" or otherwise collected directly in the drums and cymbals. A good source for micro battery http://www.musiciansfriend.com/ and I think the purchase is on the microphone is on ebay - from the mines.
