Where to find hand-carved Maya, like most games of chess vendors Chizen Itza?

A few years ago, I visited Chizen Itza in Mexico. On the trail back to parking, there were street vendors selling local products such as artisan hand (Mayan gods?) Chess provides the colorful pottery, blankets, etc. Does anyone know of a source of these products?
